Your Wedding - FAQ
- What does it cost?
My prices can be found here, however every wedding is different so bespoke pricing is also possible.
- What is included in your wedding package?
Each wedding booking includes a complimentary Engagement session, this is a great way for us to get to know each other and produce some pre-wedding images. On the big day, my standed coverage starts at Bridal Preparation through to shortly after the First Dance. This can be customised though. After the wedding, edited images are provided on DVD/USB and uploaded to a password-protected online gallery. Optional extras are also available.
- Do you offer coverage of Groom Preparation?
Yes. I look to photograph both the Bride and Groom getting ready. During our consultation, we can discuss your specific requirements.
- Can we meet beforehand?
Absolutely! Each wedding booking comes with a consultation where we can meet over coffee (or something else) to discuss your specific requirements and plan your booking. In addition, I am always happy to take e-mail and telephone enquiries.
If you have any questions or would like to discuss prior to booking, I am happy to discuss in person, over the telephone or via e-mail.
- What equipment do you use?
I only use professional quality cameras, lenses and lighting equipment. I use a Canon 5D3, Canon 6D, and a collection of 'L' series Canon lenses. If you would like to see a detailed list, my equipment list is here.
A wedding day can only be photographed once so I carry backup equipment in case of the unexpected.
- Do you visit the venue beforehand?
Yes. I follow the 'Be Prepared' principle so I always plan to visit the venue either on my own or with you before your big day to assist my planning and preparation.
- How many images should we expect?
An average full day wedding will produce around 350 fully edited images which tell the story of your wedding day. Whilst some photographers may offer to provide 1000s, I prefer to offer quality over quantity. The editing process takes much longer than the actual wedding day so I prefer to deliver a product high in quality rather than rush to deliver 1000s. Each image from your wedding day deserves individual attention.
- How long after our wedding can we expect the edited images?
My typical turn-around time is 4-6 weeks, but I know that waiting can be hard so I deliver a 'sneak peek' select few images shortly after the wedding and several more before the full collection is complete.
- How are our images delivered to us?
Your fully edited images are provided on either DVD or USB (your choice) in High-Resolution and Web Quality. High Resolution images are best used for printing, whilst the Web Quality size conforms to current Facebook and Instagram guidelines for high quality images.
I also produce a high definition Wedding Photo Film which is uploaded to Vimeo and shareable with friends and family.
Additionally, your edited collection is uploaded to a password-protected online gallery which you can share with friends and family if you wish.
